I like the poem about forgiveness by Liz Fulp. I agree with what she is trying to say, it is easier to forgive someone than to hold a grudge. I don’t understand sometimes why people stay mad about things for so long, knowing that if they would just let it go they would feel so much better. Jesus died on a cross so that we could be forgiven for our sins, so why can’t we forgive others just as he did?

I’m starting to get in to the hamlet movie we are watching in class. I think hamlet is a lot smarter than everyone thinks he is. He is not mad, he wants them to think he is because he is trying to find away to get back at Claudius for killing his father. I do not think he should be treating Ophelia so harsh because she cares about hamlet and her father is putting her under so much pressure to stay away from him. I’m excited to see what happens in the play that is coming up.

I enjoyed watching Hamlet yesterday I thought it was a good movie so far. The way they talk is kind of weird and I can’t understand what they say sometimes. After I read act one and then we watched the movie I was able to make more sense of what was actually happening in the story. I feel bad for Hamlet because he just lost his father and on top of that he finds out that his uncle who just married his mother is the man who killed him. Hamlet seems very strange and talkative, but humble at the same time because he is more upset with the loss of his father than not being king.
I like the poem "Nothing New" is by Eric Skeen. I think the authors point that he is trying to get across is that so many people go through life each day keeping to themselves and not trying to open up to others . Hes pretty much saying that this person passes all these different kinds of people every day and never talks to them or listen to what they have to say. bye doing that the people will never see the real you.
